Meet the Team
Erin Naimi, RDN, CEDRD is a Registered Dietitian/ Nutrition Therapist/Certified Eating Disorder Dietitian, who has been in practice since 1999. Erin is currently available for consultation virtually via Zoom and for occasional in person sessions as her schedule allows. She offers individual and group consultation for a variety of conditions and her areas of expertise include Eating Disorders, Disordered Eating, Emotional Eating, and Gastrointestinal Diseases, including Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), Celiac Disease, and Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO). She also offers consultation for PCOS, ARFID, pre & post-natal nutrition, vegetarianism, and general lifestyle wellness.
Erin is an advocate for healthful eating that is equal parts healthy and pleasurable. She facilitates change with clients so that they can feel confident about their relationship to food for a lifetime without any sense of deprivation, guilt, or insanity. She understands that change is not sustainable if it is not individualized for each person’s unique needs and lifestyle. Her goal is to help individuals reconnect to their inherent sense of attunement with their bodies, and to eradicate any sense of guilt, shame, or confusion in regard to food.
Erin’s expertise in the fields of Eating Disorders and Gastrointestinal Disorders was been honed by her tenure as a dietitian at some of the most prestigious medical centers and treatment centers within the Los Angeles area. With over 20 years of experience, having worked in Eating Disorder treatment programs in residential, PHP and IOP, Erin has the expertise and knowledge to address and help resolve even the most challenging conditions.
Erin is the co-author of Real World Recovery, and is a frequent contributor to books and publications on topics related to nutrition, wellness, and mindfulness. She offers supervision for Dietetic Interns and Registered dietitians.
She is available for public speaking and media coverage.
Erika graduated with her Bachelor’s in Nutrition from CSULA and her Master’s in Nutrition from CSUN. Following school, she immediately jumped into working with eating disorders after developing a passion for the field and specializes in working with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, ARFID, and healing peoples’ relationship to food after years of dieting. Furthermore, she loves supporting women with conditions such as PCOS and infertility, as well as through stages of life such as pregnancy and postpartum.
Erika has a passion for teaching clients the science of nutrition for health support, as well as decreasing the stress and guilt around foods by utilizing Intuitive Eating principles and tailoring nutrition support to the individual’s unique needs and lifestyle.
